Vogue Paris January 2012 ~ Kate Moss ignites the Bowie form…

Stylers – as you all know, one of my favourite Editors to date is the one and only Emmanuelle Alt. Though my editorial love stays resolute and loyal, to what I would refer to as the ambassador of a la mode; Carine Roitfeld – Alt has certainly esteemed her original vision of creating a more visionary, dynamic look to the categorised ‘chic’ Vogue presence.

Alt pays an astounding tribute to David Bowie and Ziggy Stardust, by gracing muse Kate Moss for the December 2011/January 2012 cover of Vogue Paris.

Moss acts as guest editor for the issue – a tradition that Alt ascertains a devout passion for. Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the image emulates the resemblance and star stopping subsistence of eighties rock and roll, perfectly.

This isn’t the first time iconic Miss Moss has imitated the novel look – May 2003’s Vogue UK ,  shot by Nick Knight, saw the mistress of fetal create an indelibly sought after front cover image, equally as euphoric in both style and era enthused, representation.
