A Tribute to Ntozake Shange.

1948 born American Playwrite and Poet Ntozake Shange has remained a firm favourite of mine – her initial Obie Award winning plays have been nothing short of, masterful.

After recently re-reading her Novel Betsey Brown, I was left in continual awe of her ability to transfix an audience, so effortlessly. Her sense of recreating from the ready instigated, is phenomenol.

There’s actually no better choice of song to accompany this Queen Novelist, than ‘This Woman’s Worth’, which can be heard here. I’ve relayed the love from Maxwell – although Kate Bush would be equally, as fitting.
